New Age Categories - effective Jan 1 '10

 

The FCA Board of Directors has confirmed an amendment to the FCA Rules governing the age classes for Cadet and Junior archers in Canada.

This amendment is to make Canadian age classes consistent with FITA age classes as of 01 January 2010. This amendment is effective as of 01 January 2010 for all competitions in Canada sanctioned by the FCA and FITA.

 

The effective rules as amended are as follows (amendments are underlined):

 

4.2.3.3         To compete in a Junior class, a person must be 20 or younger on December 31 of the current year.

4.2.3.4         To compete in a Cadet class, a person must be 17 or younger on December 31 of the current year.

This amendment does not pertain to any tournaments sanctioned by IFAA, IBO or any other archery governing body.
